San Remo Fisherman’s Co-op

Known by locals simply as “The Co-op.” Since 1948, San Remo Fisherman’s Co-op has serviced the needs of the local fishing fleet and the seafood loving community.

Located right in front of San Remo Jetty, the San Remo Fisherman’s Co-op boasts a magnificent view of the beach, the boats and bridge to Phillip Island.

Food is great. Best fish and chips. Only drawback is there are always heaps of people waiting to order. Your patience will be rewarded with lovely fish and chips or a yummy burger. So be patient. Has indoor and outdoor seating. On beach front so view is lovely.

Very good fish & chips here. The fish is very fresh. And the view by the seaside is very beautiful. The pier next to it is also very scenic with crystal clear waters. We even saw a stingray swimming by the jetty.

Really good local fish and chips – my wife and I split a 2 fish and medium chips platter and were stuffed. The fish is fresh and not too greasy, even fried, and the chips are crisp outside and soft inside – just perfect.
